We have a community garden bed at Mountain View Community Garden at Mountain View Park. We try to keep crops and edible plants growing year round. You are welcome to help tend the garden and take harvest home! We currently have a few varieties of peppers, basil, onions, and butterfly pea flower. Stacia has been know to make basil pesto and butterfly pea flower tea gift sets for friends and neighbors to enjoy. We have Volunteer Garden Days on the 3rd Saturday of each month. 8AM-noon. You can volunteer for garden projects, meet Garden Gail, attend seed and compost classes, tour the garden, try some new seed packet starters, have coffee/tea and meet the gardeners. We are in the garden other days as our schedule allows, if you can’t make a 3rd Saturday, just let us know and we’ll arrange something. See you in the garden!
